DURATION

DIFFICULTY LEVEL

Lenin Peak 7134m is located at border of Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.. Lenin peak is considered as one of the most accessible 7000m peaks and because of this fact it has become one of the most popular 7000m peaks and annually received hundreds of climbers from all over the world.

The perfect months for the expedition to Lenin Peak are July and August. During the summer, the climate conditions are generally stable. There are several routes to the Lenin Peak summit. The famous ascents are from Kyrgyzstan. The trail starts in the north side of the mountain and is not as demanding as other options. It is a suitable route for those climbers with little experience and basic technical skills.
The way up to the summit is really amazing with stunning landscapes around.

Base Camp is beautiful at a raised meadow of Alpine flowers between two steep river valleys. From Base Camp we head over the Puteshestvinnikov Pass to the moraine of the Lenin Glacier which is ascended to reach camp 1(ABC) at 4200m. There will be three camps, crossing the subsidiary peak Razdelny. It is from here the views really open up towards Ismoil Somoni and the Hindu Kush. The views, as you would expect, are outstanding and stretch right across the Pamirs to Muztagh Ata and Kongur in China and to the west, the Karakoram.
