CONTENT OF PRESENTATION

The main purpose of the presentation is to provide insights into the whole expedition journey to climb the second highest mountain in the world. It is not about the destination; it is the journey that matters to Khafiz, his family, friends and the whole Malaysia outdoor community.

TEAMWORK

Khafiz started the journey alone until his friends discovered his aspirations and voluntarily supported him via setting up of ZEROTO8000 - they assisted with website design and selling merchandise.

RISK MANAGEMENT

K2 is known for its technical climbing which requires the highest level of mountaineering skills. Khafiz attended Alpine Technical Course and fervently believes that getting to the summit is not the utmost priority but getting down safely is fundamental.
