ICE CLIMBING INTERMEDIATE ALPINE COURSE
IRAN
This course is an instructional and coaching course designed for those who have some basic in trekking and would like to learn and deepen their skills on alpine trekking—snow and ice faces, rock and mixed ground and to prepare themselves for high altitude climbing. Safety is everyone first priority. Thus, each climber must equip themselves with skills and knowledge to ensure they are climbing on best safety standard practice.
Phase 1: 2 Days Training in Putrajaya
DAY 1: PCP Putrajaya
- Registration at Putrajaya Challenge Park
- First session : rope management, knots, jumaring, repelling, short roping techniques
- Second session: belaying and climbing on top belay
DAY 2: PCP Putrajaya
- First session; , learn how to set up anchor, and repelling leading a climb, multi pitch system, top belay, SRT & DRT System.
- Second session; General knowledge on weather analysis, navigation, route finding & avalanche danger
Phase 2: 8 Days Training in Iran
DAY 1: Meet at Imam Khoemeini International Airport, Iran.
- Sightseeing at Tehran. Check in Hotel
DAY 2: Transfer to Tochal Ski pist by cable car.
- Practice on cramponing techniques, self-arrest, Snow anchor, ascending on snow slopes, rope fixing & jumaring, short roping, crevasse rescue etc. (Hotel
