MOUNT AMA DABLAM

NEPAL

DURATION
26 Days / 25 Nights
DIFFICULTY LEVEL
Hard
Ama Dablam, famously dubbed the "Matterhorn of the Himalaya," stands out as one of the world's most breathtaking mountains situated in the Eastern Nepal region of the Himalayas. Ama Dablam is distinguished by its unique pyramid shape. The hanging glacier on its southwest face bears a striking resemblance to the sacred ornament box used by Sherpa women, known as Dablam, which inspired the mountain's name "Ama Dablam." Despite its elevation of 6,812 meters above sea level, this peak captivates not for its sheer height but for the aesthetic allure it possesses. Located in Nepal's Khumbu region, south of Mount Everest, the ascent to its pinnacle offers splendid views that are truly worth experiencing.
